Arsenal 1 - 3 Manchester United

This one was going to be tough!

My heart was practically pumping really fast from the moment the game kicked off!
At 0-0 anything could have happened, and Arsenal did come close a few times. Arshavin was menacing as usual. But apart from his constant menacing... Arsenal were pretty quiet this time around.

Probably it was thanks to the midfield quintuplet of Park, Scholes, Nani, Carrick and Fletcher. Although I'm not really a fan of the 4-5-1 style, but seriously Fergie has constructed a new style to United's play in recent matches.

You have Nani and Park running down the flanks constantly being backed up by the best full backs United have to offer, Evra and Rafael. Surely there's no stopping them as their link up plays are a joy to behold. Next attacking from the middle will be a problem for the opposition players as for months now, people have been praising the work rate of Fletcher and Scholes plus Carrick is now doing a decent job too. How often have you seen attacks being broken down by these 3. A deadly combination, Arsenal's kids couldn't afford to get pass.

Anyway I managed to catch the match till the 60th minute where Park scored United's 3rd of the match before I had to leave the mamak I was at. I quickly rushed home to get a quick look of what was happening thanks to ESPN Soccernet's live commentary and I found these comments funny. Take a look:

95'Game over. A throughly convincing performance from Manchester United and an emphatic victory. Arsenal's title chase is over again, barring some miraculous run of form. Rooney, Scholes, Nani and Park were excellent and United go one point behind the leaders Chelsea.
93'What has happened to Walcott? He runs on to the ball at pace and has decent space down the left but turns in a woeful cross.
91'Arshavin has had a miserable afternoon. He loses the ball and then fouled Valencia. Had the Russian taken some of the chances he had early on, or picked the right pass, this afternoon could have been very different.
83'Such a weak header from Walcott. He was ten yards from goal and unmarked but he headed it like an eight-year-old school boy in the playground who is afraid of the ball.
81'Another Arsenal goal in the next five minutes and I might wake up from this deep slumber.
77'Fabregas has given up here. Again he wastes possession when he had plenty of options. He must be gutted. I bet he'll instruct his agent to get onto the blower to Barcelona the second the game has finished.
52'We are watching the disintegration of Arsenal's title bid here. They have been ripped apart by United. Two passes put Park clean through, he has plenty of support but doesn't need them as he slots it underneath Almunia and puts the game to bed.
39'The Emirates is as deathly quiet as it was back in the Champions League semi-final last year.

Anyway, I shall be posting the video once it is uploaded,
